Today we celebrated World Book Day.

Today we celebrated World Book Day.

  We designed our own front covers for our library book.

On Friday we visited the library.

‘We got to sit on comfy seats and we got to see all the books.   I chose Lily’s Pesky Plant because we have Lily in our class’.   Millie

On the week of World Book Day the nursery children discussed their favourite books and spoke about why they liked them. We decided to have a vote. The favourite books overall were ‘Rapunzel’ and ‘The Gruffalo’. At our art and craft areas we made book covers of these two books. They can be seen in our nursery on the doors into our playrooms. We have had lots of nice comments from our parents about our book cover doors.
